VoiceCheq Support
Questions about your account or a payment? Email us and we'll get back to you. Answers to common questions are below.
Email is the only way to reach support. We don't offer phone support or live chat.
- Fastest: email us from the app Go to Settings → HELP & FEEDBACK and tap Get help (or Send feedback). Your email app opens with the subject set, and your support reference, @username, app version and iOS version are filled in at the bottom. Just tell us what happened.
-
Emailing from somewhere else?
Please include your support reference. It's an 8-character code, like
1A2B3C4D, shown under Settings → HELP & FEEDBACK as “Your support reference is …”, and you can copy it from there. Your app version is at the bottom of Settings. - Can't sign in? You won't be able to see your reference. Email us from the address you signed up with, or tell us whether you used Apple or Google sign-in.
Keep your account safe
We will never ask for your password, sign-in codes, full Social Security number or full bank account number by email or phone, and our emails only come from @voicecheq.com addresses. Please don't send us any of those details.
Common questions
How do I sign in?
You can sign in three ways: Continue with Apple, Continue with Google, or with an email and password.
If you use Continue with Apple and choose Apple's Hide My Email, we only receive a private Apple relay address instead of your real email. If you contact us from your real address, let us know you signed in with Apple.
Can't sign in? Email support@voicecheq.com from the address you signed up with, or tell us whether you used Apple or Google sign-in.
Why do I need to verify my ID, and how does it work?
U.S. law requires us to verify your identity before you can use payments. Setup goes in this order: your name, ID verification, Face ID setup, then bank setup.
ID verification is done by our verification provider, Didit. You'll take a photo of your government-issued ID and a selfie. We'll send you a notification with your ID verification result and when your account is approved.
How do I link my bank?
Bank setup is the last step, after ID verification and Face ID. You'll enter your Social Security number and bank details, which go to our payments partner, Bridge. Bridge provides payments, balances and bank transfers for VoiceCheq.
How do I add money?
Send a bank transfer to the deposit details shown in the app. We'll send you a notification when the money has been added.
How long does a cash out take?
Go to Settings → Cash out to bank. A cash out usually arrives within a business day, and we'll send you a notification about it. The minimum cash out is $1.00.
A payment didn't go through. What should I do?
Check History in the app to see the payment's status. If there's a problem with a payment, we'll send you a notification.
Still stuck? Tap Get help under Settings → HELP & FEEDBACK, or email support@voicecheq.com with your support reference.
How do voice payments work?
- Tap the mic.
- Say the amount and who to pay.
- Check the confirmation card, which also shows any fee before you approve.
- Approve with Face ID.
Nothing is ever sent without your Face ID approval. Prefer not to speak? Pick a person and type an amount instead.
Who can use VoiceCheq?
VoiceCheq is available to adults 18 and over who live in the United States, including U.S. territories. It isn't currently available in New York or Texas.
VoiceCheq is an iPhone app (iOS only for now).
How do I turn notifications on or off?
In the app, go to Settings → Notifications. You can also use your iPhone's Settings → VoiceCheq → Notifications.
We send notifications for money received, money added, payment problems, cash outs, ID verification results and account approval.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete account. You'll need no payments in progress and a $0 balance, so cash out first. If what's left is under the $1.00 cash-out minimum, email support@voicecheq.com and we'll close the account for you.
Deleting your account removes your profile, username, photo, contacts and bank link, and revokes Sign in with Apple. Payment records are kept without personal details, as the law requires.
